A Note to my cherished church members. Let us continue to move forward in God’s Will.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As we journey together into this new season, I am filled with gratitude for each of you and the commitment you show to our church family.  The road ahead is paved with opportunities to serve, grow, and fulfill God’s purpose for our congregation.  Let us move forward with faith, trusting that as we seek to do God’s will, He will guide, provide, and strengthen us every step of the way. Our Church Statements tells us that our overall goal is “To advance the kingdom of our Savior…we are to support missions…support our church through acts of charity…help to develop believers…by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit.”:  Because we envision a church living up to the challenge of Jesus Christ.  Let us continue to support one another in love, pray for wisdom and unity, and remain open to the ways God is calling each of us to make a difference in our community and beyond. Together, we can accomplish far more than we can alone, remembering that “in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:6). St. John Missionary Baptist Church would not be SJMBC without you.  We are here to be and do what God wants our church to do.  A church with a standard for our Lord.  We must do our part.  No one can do what God puts on your heart but you.  Thank you for your faithfulness, your prayers, and your willingness to serve.  May God bless you richly as we move forward in obedience to His will.
