July - Mother's Board Corner

We are living in a world where wrong seems to be right and right has no place at all. Lest we forget we came from one blood, Noah and his three sons’ family, following the great flood. Can’t we just get alone. I Thessalonians 4:9 reads: “But concerning brotherly love you have no need that I should write to you, for you yourselves are taught by God to love one another”, I Thessalonians 5:14-15 says: “Now we exhort you, brethren, warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, be patient with all. See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue what is good both for yourselves and for all” and in Genesis 11:1 it says: “Now the whole earth had one language and one speech”. So, they decided to build a tower to heaven. They were getting alone but had the wrong purpose. So, God scattered them all over the earth. Now we are at this point of brothers hating brothers because of the skin color. What is happening to us? Have we forgot that God created us all for his purpose and for his Glory. We have a rough road ahead, brothers and sisters, we have just got to learn to get alone. Hold fast to your faith in God and make I Thessalonians 5:17 “Pray Without Ceasing”, a part your of daily living. Submitted by Mother Sandra Fairbanks
